Malik Mustapha who is a Muslim by religion has established a reputation as a strong hitter in his rookie campaign
The style of Malik Mustapha was a topic of discussion during training camp, and it has always been evident when he has been on the field. As Mustapha was a missile from safety, it appeared several times on Sunday. However, Patrick Mahomes took on the young safety heading into the end zone, and the result wasn’t nice.
When the score was 14–12 with 14:13 remaining in the fourth quarter, Mahomes laid the wood on Mustapha, setting up the fourth and goal. You may argue about how a player gets ran over like that, but the fact is that Mahomes was going to break the plane regardless, and the integrity of the pass rush was instantly compromised.
