Fahad Ahmad’s family and education
Fahad Ahmad was born on the 2nd of February in 1992 to Zirar Ahmad in Baheri. Fahad graduated from the Aligarh Muslim University and received an M.Phil degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, in Mumbai. As of 2023, Fahad is 30 years old. He recently married actress Swara Bhaskar in February 2023.

During his tenure as the general secretary of the TISS Student Union in 2017–2018, Fahad Ahmad led protests against rolling back the fee waiver for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward-class students.
He is a resident of UP Bareilly and has studied from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). After this, he came to Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) to do MPhil. While studying at the Tata Institute, Fahad Ahmed was elected the general secretary of the student union and Ahmed is currently doing PhD from here.
Fahad Ahmed came in the headlines in the year 2017-18, when he protested against increasing the fees of SC-ST and OBC students in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and is very close to Abu Azmi, is considered very close to Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi.
Over 1000 students accompanied Fahad. Prakash Ambedkar also supported students in the same matter. Ahmad participated in the Anti-CAA protests which took place in Mumbai and attended numerous rallies all across India. He was part of Wankhede’s silent protest during the India vs. Australia ODI series.
He was against Citizenship Amendment Act, calling it unconstitutional. Further in December 2019, he led the August Kranti Maidan protest. Ahmad distributed food kits with his volunteers to over eight Mumbai slums. Every Saturday evening, he provided food packets to almost 210 families. The group later distributed sanitizers to on-duty police personnel.
