It has come to light that he was ensnared in a catfishing scandal, where he believed he was communicating with a former ballet dancer he had been involved with previously. However, he soon discovered that he was interacting with an entirely different individual with malicious intentions.
During the legal proceedings, Aron was referred to as โvictim 1โ and was identified as a โpublic-company CEO.โ The court learned that he had sent s*xual images to a person known as โMia,โ whose real name is Sakoya Blackwood. These images included both himself and another woman.

Money Demand
35 year old Sakoya Blackwood admitted guilt in the summer for her actions and, in a comprehensive statement on a platform formerly known as Twitter, Aron disclosed that she demanded $300,000 to prevent the dissemination of the images.

He emphasized that instead of succumbing to blackmail, he decided to seek legal counsel and involve law enforcement, fully aware of the potential personal embarrassment. He stated, โBut with my access to resources, if I did not stand up against blackmail, who could?โ
Blackmail Plot
Blackwood employed various fictitious personas in her blackmail plot, including an alleged ex-boyfriend of the ballet dancer and a fabricated journalist. She pleaded guilty to cyberstalking in March and expressed deep regret for her actions against the married CEO.
After convincing Aron that she was his ex-girlfriend, on April 4, she messaged him with a request for his images. In response, the CEO sent multiple photos of himself and another woman.
On April 11, Blackwood introduced a new fictitious character, โBrian,โ posing as the โex-boyfriend of Mia,โ and threatened to spread the images. She also warned Aron that she would send the material to all the members of his companyโs board.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Blackwood posed as a reporter from Vanity Fair in an attempt to extort money from the CEO. Aron clarified that he did not make any payments to the woman.
Jamaican Sakoya Blackwood, a resident of the Bronx in New York, faced charges for her actions in September 2022 and received a jail sentence in July 2023, taking into account the time she had already served.
