The incident further came into the limelight over how the Russian authorities treated the four suspects in custody, after they all appeared with severe bruises during the court hearing.
Moscow Attack
The dreadful incident took place on Friday, March 22, 2024, when four armed men in camouflage entered the Crocus City Hall building in Moscow and started shooting randomly at people from a clear distance. Following the shootings, the four men then proceeded to bomb a part of the building. The shocking incident has resulted in the deaths of 137 people, including three children. According to reports, around 182 people are injured, with hospitals treating around 101 people. Just a day after the incident, Russian authorities managed to capture the four attackers around the Bryansk region.
Saidakrom Rachabalizoda bio and age
Saidakrom Rachabalizoda is a Tajikistan citizen who lives in the Podolsk region in Moscow, Russia. He is currently 28 years old and he is one of the four suspects that the Russian government have arrested in connection to the recent attack in Moscow. During the recent court hearing, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda communicated with the help of a translator. Notably, Saidakram appeared in court with a part of his ear cut off, his eye socket broken, and his mouth punched. This led to questions about how the Russian authorities treated the four suspects while they were under custody. According to reports, Saidakrom previously had to pay a fine of 5,000 rubles back in 2018, for overstaying in Russia for over 90 days. The court had also ordered him to leave the Russian Federation “independently under supervision.”

The Basmanny Court of Moscow held a court hearing over the incident on Sunday and convicted Saidakrom Rachabalizoda and all three other suspects of committing a terrorist act and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The authorities had previously detained them under custody with the investigations pending. According to reports, the court held the entire hearing process behind closed doors to prevent any secrets of the investigation from leaking. Moreover, they did it to prevent any threats to the safety of the participants and their relatives.
