Who owned the MUV?
Sunil Agarwal, a firecracker entrepreneur from Saharanpur, owned the involved car. He had purchased the Innova a few days prior during the Dhanteras celebration. Atul, his son, was operating the car when the accident occurred.
He had travelled to Dehradun with six companions. Since Atul got a new car, his friend insisted on having a party. On Monday evening, Atul threw a party at Siddhesh Agarwal’s Jakhan residence. After that, Atul and his companion went for a drive.
The MUV was shown on CCTV accelerating rapidly immediately prior to the collision close to the ONGC crossroads after originally traveling through checkpoints at a modest pace. The MUV driver accelerated as well in an effort to catch up when a luxury automobile passed them at a fast pace.
