According to law enforcement, members of the Secret Service detail opened fire at Ryan Wesley Routh. It is unclear if he discharged a weapon. According to Bradshaw, a witness reported seeing a man leap out of the bushes and drive off in a black Nissan.
About fifty miles north of the golf course, the automobile was stopped by authorities after they obtained the license plate number; the driver was taken into custody and recognized as the suspect. In the bushes at the scene, law enforcement discovered a GoPro camera, two backpacks with ceramic tile, a gun, and a scope.
58 year old Ryan Wesley Routh from North Carolina is the key suspect in this assassination attempt. Routh’s son, eldest Oran, described him as a “loving and caring father. Nothing is known about his wife or other family members though.
He has had a number of legal issues. Routh voted Democratic and in person during the party’s 2024 primary in North Carolina, according to the state’s Board of Elections and is reportedly registered as an unaffiliated voter.
He called for foreign fighters to go to Ukraine to battle against Russian forces and there are also pro-Palestinian, pro-Taiwan and anti-China messages on his social media profiles, including allegations about Chinese “biological warfare” and references to the Covid-19 virus as an “attack”.
Property records show that Ryan Wesley Routh lived most of his life in North Carolina, although his most recent location is Hawaii. According to his LinkedIn profile, Routh was the owner of a shed-building business called Camp Box Honolulu. Additionally, according to the narrative, he attended and graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1998.
Documents reveal that Routh’s legal troubles date back to the 1990s and include petty accusations of check fraud. But according to documents from the North Carolina Department of Corrections, he was charged with a felony in 2002 for possessing a weapon of mass destruction. According to the records, he was accused of offenses in another incident, including hit-and-run, resisting arrest, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Regarding Routh’s purported statements about Donald Trump, social media is still ablaze. In one tweet, he declared his commitment to supporting Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
“I AM WILLING TO FLY TO KRAKOW AND GO TO THE BORDER OF UKRAINE TO VOLUNTEER AND FIGHT AND DIE-Will I be able to cross to border to fight without a Visa????Every citizen around the globe should be running to Ukraine to fight,” he wrote.
Before the dipshit magas run with “He’s a dem” bs – Ryan Wesley Routh is registered in NC as Unaffiliated – not Democrat. He is also a rabid anti-vax loon.
He also did not fire a shot. Secret Service fired at him.
He also has a history with guns back to 2002.
