Kawai Ruka career
Asa and Ruka are the first Japanese members to debut in a girl group under YG Entertainment. Between 2016 and 2018, Kawai Ruka was a member of the Jpop group Shibu3 Project. Ruka enjoys doing Pilates.
From 2016 to 2018, prior to debuting with the Babymonster, Ruka was promoted as a member of the Shibu3 Project. This project is a Japanese girl group, under the Blue Class sub-unit. Kawai Ruka was the lead hip-hop dancer in the group.
In early 2018, at the age of 16 years, Kawai Ruka passed an audition with YG Entertainment. During the training, Kawai was praised for her strong dancing skills, which she had been mastering for around 10 years. Ruka trained for almost 4-5 years before her debut with the Babymonster.
