Lalu Yadav, who is 74 years old returned from Singapore last month after receiving the treatment. The veteran politician and three-time Bihar chief minister have been affected by many health issues. He has been recently suggested for a kidney transplant. “Rohini Acharya stepped in to give her father a new lease of life,” a family member stated to the media.

Rohini Acharya is the younger daughter born to father Lalu Prasad and mother Rabri Yadav. Her mother Rabri Devi is a well-known former CM. Her father is the president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and a former Bihar Chief Minister as well as a former Railway Minister of India. Rohini is the oldest of her seven brothers.
Her siblings Tejpratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav are both police officers. Misa Bharti, her sister is a doctor and a police officer. Rohini Acharya has been in the United States for a long time and she got married to Samaresh Singh who is a software engineer from the United States in 2002. Apart from the fact that she is presently based in Singapore, Acharya also actively comments on political issues held in India, particularly of the Bihar state. Rohini like her other Yadav family members has her share of controversies. Her age is not known.
Her 2002 wedding made national headlines when it was claimed that her uncle Subhash Yadav had forcibly removed over 50 new cars from the showrooms in order to transport guests to her wedding venue. After Acharya’s wedding, the cars were reportedly returned to the showrooms back. Rohini is living a luxurious life with her husband Samaresh in Singapore.
