The argument revolved around TikTok use, with Ramaswamy criticizing Haley’s family while talking about the well-known Chinese social media platform. Forbes claims that when Ramaswamy brought up Rena Haley, Nikki Haley’s daughter, and her TikTok usage, the discussion became quite heated.

Who is Rena Haley?
Rena Haley is an American teenager renowned for being the daughter of politician Nikki Haley. She has been in the news because Vivek Ramaswamy brought up her TikTok usage during the recent GOP presidential primary debate against Nikki Haley.
She was born in South Carolina, USA, in 1998. Her mother’s name is Nikki Haley, born Nimrata Randhawa, and her father’s name is Michael Haley. Her mother is a politician and has served as the governor of South Carolina and US Ambassador, and her father has served in the National Guard and is currently a medical equipment seller. Rena also has one younger brother named Nalin Haley, who is a college student.
After completing her schooling, Rena Haley started attending Clemson University in 2017. There, she minored in communications and majored in political science. Presently, she is attending Georgetown University in Washington DC, where she is pursuing a master’s in international relations.
Rena is married, and her husband is Joshua Jackson, a renowned Canadian actor. The couple has a daughter named Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
She is currently 25 years old with her height at 5 feet 4 inches and she is a Christian by religion.
Nikki converted to Christianity for Michae and in 2010, Nikki told The New York Times that she was baptized at St. Andrew By-the-Sea before their wedding and their children Rena and Nalin were also baptized in the Methodist Church.

While pursuing her master’s degree, Rena Haley is working as a research assistant at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a think tank that focuses on global issues and policy. Apart from this, she also became a pediatric nurse.
