Francisco “Fran” Jose Garcia Torres is a Spanish professional footballer who was born on August 14, 1999, in Bolaños de Calatrava, Spain. He mainly plays as a left-back for La Liga club Real Madrid and wears the number 20 jersey at the club. Fran has recently gained prominence over the past few months with his consistent runs of form. The Spanish defender is slowly close to becoming an established starting player over Ferland Mendy.

Club career
Fran Garcia started out his club career with hometown side Bolaños CF before joining Real Madrid’s La Fabrica in 2013. He signed a new contract on February 1, 2018, while still a junior, before eventually getting promoted to the reserves ahead of the 2018-19 season. Garcia then made his senior debut on September 9, during a match against Segunda División B against AD Union Adarve.
Fran then went on to make his first team debut on December 6 as a second-half substitute for Dani Carvajal during a 6-1 win over UD Melilla. He scored his first senior goal later that same year on December 15, 2019, against Getafe CF B. Garcia then got loaned out to Segunda División club Rayo Vallecano for the 2020-21 campaign.
