Francisco Javier González Pérez, born on 24 June 2005 in León, began his football journey at the age of five. He spent twelve dedicated seasons with Cultural Leonesa, where he steadily built a reputation for his exceptional goalkeeping abilities. In 2022, he joined Real Madrid after delivering standout performances in the National League with Cultural Leonesa’s Juvenil B side. His arrival at Real Madrid Juvenil B soon attracted the attention of Luis Llopis, the first-team goalkeeping coach under Carlo Ancelotti.
In July 2023, González marked a major milestone when he was called up for the club’s preseason tour of the United States. Real Madrid later extended his contract by five years, securing his place among the four goalkeepers for the 2023/24 season. He actively contributed to both Real Madrid Juvenil A and the C team in the Tercera Federación, where he regularly started matches and earned valuable experience, including a 0–1 win away at Las Rozas.
