Three Real Madrid players have been detained in connection with a tape featuring an underage adolescent girl and one of them is a talented defender who was linked to West Ham and Leeds earlier this year named Raul Asencio
Raul Asencio is one of the defaulters who has been exposed.
The names of those detained have not yet been released by Spanish authorities, and it is unlikely that they will for legal reasons. But one of those identifies one of the footballers as Raul Asencio, according to a newspaper in Gran Canaria, the location of the incident that reportedly resulted in a video being shared on WhatsApp without the girl’s agreement.

The 20-year-old youngster, born in Gran Canaria and a member of Castilla, Real Madrid’s reserve squad, was given his first call-up to the Spain Under-19s last year after being dubbed the group’s “new prodigy.” According to a Sunday People article from April, West Ham had discussions with Asencio’s agents about a summer transfer.
A Gran Canaria publication has identified Raul Asencio as one of the three Real Madrid players detained. Furthermore, it stated that Real was willing to contemplate a permanent move or a sale with a buy-back option and that Leeds was pursuing the defender. He was then Real Madrid’s third squad member, who competed in La Liga’s fifth division.
When he was identified by some Spanish media, other reports claimed that the footballers who had been detained were a part of a group that included four men and three women who had partied together in a VIP chill-out area at the Amadores Beach Club in the Gran Canaria resort Puerto Rico in the municipality of Mogan in June, when the tape was allegedly recorded.
The two other women reportedly stayed in the VIP chill-out area with the three other Real Madrid players “to have consensual s*x,” while the football player, locally known as Raul Asencio, reportedly went to the swimming pool with one of the women. At that moment, one of the women said she thought one of the players had recorded the s*x on his cellphone.

The players involved acknowledged that there had been filming but pledged to remove the material. Two months later, two of the girlsโamong them a minorโfound out at Amadores that the film from June was being circulated among WhatsApp groups. Then the minor’s mother made the decision to file a police report. According to some claims, the player from Gran Canaria, identified as Asencio by Canarias 7 and other Spanish media, just received the footage and immediately deleted it from his mobile phone.
A Real Madrid Castilla player and two Real Madrid C players were detained, Spanish police confirmed late yesterday after rumours of the arrests surfaced. The fourth individual, a member of Real Madrid C, the club’s second reserve team, who was questioned by police, has not yet been legally detained. None of the four have yet appeared before the investigating judge who is in charge of the continuing investigation at a court in the municipality of San Bartolome de Tirajana.
As soon as the judge receives the official report, they should receive a summons. At Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training facility in the Spanish capital, the arrests happened on Thursday.
However, there are no players in custody. It is understood that police are looking into whether any other people are involved, and they have not ruled out making other arrests. A representative for the police said that none of the athletes detained at the Valdedebas training facility in Madrid were members of the first team. A police report was anticipated to be handed to a judge on Friday, who would then decide when they would be called for oath-taking interrogation, according to the well-placed court insiders.
