Rashi Bagga, a B.Tech. student at the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR), has created history by obtaining a job with a staggering salary of Rs 85 lakh annually. The highest package available to any IIIT-NR student in 2023 is this one.
Before reaching this milestone, Bagga has had an illustrious journey, marked by significant roles such as an SDE Intern at Intuit in Bengaluru and a Software Developer Intern at Amazon. Her journey continues at Atlassian since July 2023, where she serves as a Product Security Engineer, contributing significantly to the organisation. While her DOB isn’t known, she is aged between 20-24 years.
IIT-NR Student Creates History With Her Salary Package
In addition to being a personal triumph, Rashi’s accomplishment represents the highest wage offer ever accepted by a student from IIIT-NR. Her latest packages create a historic milestone in the institute’s placement statistics for 2023.
Even though Rashi Bagga had recently received a nice offer from another organisation, it’s interesting to note that she was still interested in attending other interviews and ultimately succeeded in receiving a record-breaking employment offer.
Even though she was happy with her initial job offer, the IIIT publicity coordinator reported that Rashi Bagga was interested in attending other job interviews.
According to a source, the same corporation that chose Chinky Karda from IIIT-NR last year for a deal of Rs 57 lakh annually was the one who chose Rashi Bagga this year. Chinky Karda received the highest compensation package of her batch.
Other IIT-NR Students Receiving Staggering Salary Package
Yogesh Kumar is yet another IIIT-NR student who has also been successful in landing a job offer for Rs 56 lakh annually as a software development engineer. An international corporation has extended a new job offer to Yogesh Kumar.
An international corporation offered Ravi Kushashwa, a student at IIIT-NR, a job with a salary of Rs 1 crore per year in 2020. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from accepting the position.
The average CTC for this year’s class has been revised to Rs 16.5 lakh per year, and the median CTC was Rs 13.6 lakh per year, according to IIIT-NR’s placement office.
