Ez Mil signs with Shady Record and Aftermath Entertainment
Rising Filipino-American rapper Ez Mil recently shared the news about signing a deal with Eminemโs Shady Records and Dr. Dreโs Aftermath Entertainment on his official Instagram account. The young rapper will also be reportedly under contract with Interscope Records who handle both Em and Dre. Ez Mil joins the likes of another rap legend 50 Cent, who has a deal with all three label records.
Earlier this year in February, Ez Mil released a new song, โUp Down (Step & Walk)โ under his DU4LI7Y single. Ever since then, the video went viral with millions of views on YouTube. Interestingly, many rap fans who heard the song quickly compared his style to rap legend Eminem. This gained traction and just a month later, Eminem eventually heard the song and was reportedly left in awe. Ez Mil was soon invited to meet Eminem, and another hip hop icon, Dr. Dre at Los Angeles. The three caught up and EZ Mil impressed both the rappers so much that he signed a deal with both their music labels.
Following the events, Eminem shared how he built his record label Shady by being very selective. He shared his amazement over the fact that both him and Dre signing the same person together is something very rare but unsurprising after hearing Ezโs music. Meanwhile, Dr. Dre also shared how heโs only interested in working on shit that sounds different from anything out there. And with Ez he had that feeling as soon as Em played it to him. He shared how both of them realized theyโve found something special and decided to work on it together.
Ez Mil brief bio, age, and family
Ez Mil, born as Ezekiel Miller is an up-and-coming Filipino-American rap artist who was born on July 27, 1998, in Olongapo City, Philippines and he is currently 25 years old. He is not the first musician in the family as he was born to Paul Sapiera, his father, who was a famous vocalist of an 80s Filipino rock band called RockStar. The band was famous for their songs like โMahal Pa Rin Kitaโ and โParting Timeโ. Meanwhile, his mother, Hazel Miller, also has some experience of working in the music industry in the past.

The 25-year-old rapper spent his early years in the Philippines and also studied college there. After graduating from his high school, Ez moved to Baguio in order to study architecture, however, he soon dropped out after just a year and a half. He then decided to move to Urdaneta City in Pangasinan, where he spent another two years. He eventually moved to the U.S.ย where he currently still lives in Seattle, California, and Las Vegas.

Ez Mill began his music career in 2019 and gained prominence around 2021 when he released a song titled โPanaloโ. His performance in the Wish USA Bus sent the internet ablaze because of his amazing rap skills. He also caught attention over how he sang a historically inaccurate verse about LapuLapu being beheaded. Now that Ez Mil has signed a new deal with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records, he will likely see his career take off even higher. Ez Mil will release his final project titled DU4LI7Y: REDUX with his former label, Virgin Music on August 11, 2023.
