Texas-based American rapper Enchanting, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Following her death, rapper and 1017 Records founder Gucci Mane shared the news about her death on social media. Gucci Mane referred to the deceased singer as his protégée and referred to her as “a great young lady”. Gucci shared the post with a photo of her, captioning it as:
So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting 😢 💔.”
Cause of death
The rising star reportedly passed away after doctors took her off life support at a hospital. According to a statement from a representative of her management team, Enchanting was suffering from withdrawals and had overdosed. Following this, she was put on life support.

Enchanting, real name Channing Nicole Larry, was a Texas-based American rapper who was born in Germany. She moved to Atlanta at a young age, where she lived up until the fifth grade. She later moved to her present home in Fort Worth, Texas. Enchanting was just 26 years old during the time of her death. Back in a 2021 interview, she explained how she was an “army brat” growing up.
