The boxer and campaigner from London defeated Crystal Garcia Nova in the undercard to Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk 2. Ali won the super-bantamweight boxing match by knockout at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah in just one minute and five seconds.
The former Olympian’s unblemished professional record now stands at seven victories after his triumph on Saturday.

Ramla Ali is a well-known Somali professional boxer, model and activist. She has recently been in the news because she won Saudi Arabia’s first-ever female boxing battle.
Her full name is Ramla Said Ahmed Ali. She was born on 16 September 1989 in Mogadishu, Somalia. Because of Somali Civil War, she later moved to England from Somalia as a refugee.
Her height is 5 ft 7 inches or 170 cm. She is currently 32 years old. Richard Moore is the husband of famous boxer Ramla Ali and he used to be her coach.
Ramla Ali won the 2016 England Boxing Elite National Championships, the 2016 Great British Championships, the 2015 Novice National Championships in England, and the 2019 African Zone Featherweight Title as an amateur.
Ali formerly represented England, but in 2018 she switched to represent Somalia in an effort to positively represent her homeland on international stages. She was the first individual to represent Somalia to win both an African boxing championship and an international gold medal.
She participated in the women’s featherweight competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in 2021. She was the first boxer to ever represent Somalia in the Olympics, despite losing her opening bout.
