The brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi died in a traffic collision in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on Saturday. Rakesh Tiwari passed away while his wife Sabita Tiwari suffered serious injuries. The couple was travelling from the Gopalganj region of Bihar to West Bengal at the time of the accident.

A police investigation is presently in progress to determine the precise cause of the collision. According to media sources, Rakesh Tiwari was employed with the Indian Railways and based in Chittaranjan.
