He scored Purdue’s first six points and kept the team afloat early on, demonstrating his dominance from the start of the game. He was a force in the paint, outmuscling Penn State’s opponents with his size and power to score whenever he wanted.

Zach Edey is a well-known Canadian college basketball player. He has been in the news because he helped Purdue to clinch the 67-65 victory against Penn State.
He was born on May 14, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His mother’s name is Julia who is of Chinese descent and his father’s name is Glen.
Zach Edey did his schooling at Leaside High School in Toronto. Later, he attended the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
His height is 7 feet 4 inches or 2.24 meters and his weight is 305 lbs or 138 kg. He is currently 20 years old. He wears the size 20 show.
His career
Prior to his sophomore year at Leaside High School in Toronto, Zach Edey began playing basketball. After finally deciding on Purdue, he played in all 28 games with two starts in 2020–21.
He was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team after a season in which he averaged 8.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per contest. Together with USC’s Evan Mobley and Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson, he was one of just three rookies in the country to average eight points, four rebounds, 30 shot blocks, and at least 57.5% of his field goal attempts.
In that campaign, Zach Edey faced Northwestern and earned the first double-double of his career with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
He recently defeated Michigan State with a personal-best 38 points and 13 rebounds, putting on the sort of performance that has made him a household name. He averages 22.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game this season. He has previously represented Team Canada in the FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia.
