Suryansh Shedge is a promising young and upcoming all-rounder from Mumbai who was born on January 29, 2003. Over the years, he has gained recognition for his explosive batting style coupled with his medium-fast bowling skills. Notably, Suryansh is widely touted as one of the brightest talents in the Indian cricket circuit.
Suryansh mainly gained prominence early on in his career after smashing the fastest triple century back in the 2016 Giles Shield. He recently made headlines in the SMAT final against Madhya Pradesh at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Suyansh Shedge showcased his finishing abilities as he smashed an unbeaten 36 off just 15 balls. He did this at a strike rate of 240, including 3 sixes and 3 fours. His performance helped Mumbai secure their second SMAT title.
Suryansh’s father Prashant Shedge is the group marketing head at Wockhardt Hospitals while Suryansh’s mom Priyadarshini Shedge was an ex-banker with HSBC and Citibank who now dedicates her full time towards Suryansh’s upbringing and taking care of her home.
He can bowl medium pace at a speed between 115-125 kmph.
