The boyfriend of 24-year-old Priscilla Ocheme, who was supposedly her former classmate at Madonna University in Abuja, Nigeria is accused of killing her
According to human rights campaigner Harrison Gwamnishu, who broke the news on Monday via X, formerly Twitter, the girl’s family contacted him and asked for justice.
He claims that in order to liberate the alleged murderer known only as Omoba, the family is accusing the police of conspiring.
“The relatives of 24-year-old Priscilla Ocheme Priscilla Ochemeh are seeking justice, alleging she was murdered by a male friend in Lugbe, and express frustration that the police released the suspect before an autopsy could be performed and while her body remains in the mortuary,” he said.
Many people on social media are demanding justice and openness from the police in response to the news of Priscilla’s passing.

Allegedly, TikTok influencer, 24-year-old Priscilla Ocheme visited a male friend she attended Madonna University with and reportedly paid him a visit at his home in Lugbe, Abuja. She was soon afterwards found dead with blood on her face with the family claiming that she was killed by her boyfriend. He who goes by Omoba on Instagram has meanwhile denied the claims and claimed Priscilla died in a road accident.

Pricilla Ocheme lost her father when she was only about 4 years old, in a road crash and was left, alongside her other 6 siblings, to the care for her mother who was a post-primary classroom teacher.
Priscilla gained admission to read medicine in Bingham University, a private University in Nigeria but had to voluntarily drop out and withdraw her studentship from the university and its Faculty of Medicine where she was planning to take up her medical education to become a doctor.
She went onto take admission at the Department of Public Health at the Adeleke University, Osun where she graduated in BSc in Public Health.
The family of Priscilla Ocheme contacted the activist to demand justice, alleging that a guy acquaintance known on Instagram as @itsomoba aka Omoba who claims to be a businessman killed her after inviting her over. They voiced their displeasure with the way the matter was handled by the authorities, especially with the police for letting the main suspect go.

The family claims that body of Priscilla Ocheme is still in the mortuary and that their sorrow has been exacerbated by the inadequate inquiry.
There are worries that the inquiry may have been handled improperly because it has been reported that crucial procedures, such doing an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the deceased, were allegedly skipped before the suspect was freed.

Known for his support of justice and human rights, Harrison Gwamnishu has raised awareness of the issue on social media and called on law enforcement to be held accountable. In order to ascertain the truth about Priscilla’s death, he has pleaded with the authorities to reopen the investigation and make sure a comprehensive autopsy is performed.
Her family is still looking for answers and is requesting a fair inquiry that will result in the conviction of those accountable for her premature passing. There is no report of any arrests in this murder case yet.
