Andrew Madley is an English football referee who was born on September 5, 1983 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.

Andrew Madley is a Huddersfield Town fan and was at the Huddersfield Town School of Excellence before joining Bobby on a refereeing course at Altofts Cricket Club.

A look at Andrew Madley’s career

Andrew Madley started working as an official in the local Wakefield leagues. Ahead of  accompanying his brother on an Altofts Cricket Club officiating course, he attended the Huddersfield Town School of Excellence.

He advanced quickly through the levels and was certified as a Level 3A referee in 2008. After this, he was able to assist with refereeing on all three Football League divisions.

A year later, he was promoted to the Panel List and qualified to preside over the Conference divisions. He had even more success the following year when he was named a Select Group Assistant Referee and began officiating Premier League games.

In 2011, he progressed to his present role as a National List Referee, officiating in all three Football League divisions. In order to officiate primarily in the Championship, Andrew was added to the Select Group 2 referee roster as the 2016–17 season got begun. His first Premier League game managing experience came on March 31, 2018, during a 2-2 draw between Watford and Bournemouth.

After being added to the Select Group 1 Referees list in June 2019, Madley will officiate primarily in the Premier League. He most recently officiated Liverpool vs Everton.
