Prem Parija, a young actor from Odisha, is now on cloud nine. Prem has every reason to be excited, as he has now taken the baton forward by making an outstanding entry as the lead part in “Commando,” which recently debuted on the OTT platform.
Prem Paija was chosen for the role out of the 11,000 applicants that participated in the audition process to become the next Commando.ย

Who Is Prem Parija?
Prem Parija was born to Odia parents in Odisha. He completed his education at St. Josephโs School in Odisha and later moved to Delhi to complete his further education. He did his higher schooling at DPS RK Puram and earned his graduation degree from Hansraj College.
The names of his parents isn’t known. While his DOB and height isn’t known either, he is aged between 20-30 years.
Prem Parijaโs Early Life
Since a young age, Parija has been a huge admirer of Shah Rukh Khan and has always dreamed of meeting the star. He said that after watching Shah Rukh Khanโs movie Yess Boss, he decided to pursue acting as a career. He intentionally chose Hansraj College, as it’s the same place where Khan did his studies.
Prem Parijaโs Career
Parija has received training in method acting from The Lee Strasberg School of Theatre and Film in New York. His vigorous training at the theatre honed his skills.ย
For the next eight years, he worked as an Assistant Director in the Hindi film industry. He also worked behind the scenes in movies such as Lucknow Central, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Welcome to Karachi, and Satameva Jayate.
On August 11, 2023, his first thriller web series, Commando,โ was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The first movie in the series, Common: A One-Man Army, was released in theatres in 2013. It was followed by two sequels, Commando 2: The Black Money Trail (2017) and Commando 3 (2019).
