Rcently Archita Phukan, who after going viral due to these claims had changed her name to Amira Ishtara on the reel-sharing platform Instagram and had claimed to have donated Rs.75,000. These claims came to light after the popular internet identity posted a story on her Instagram about the donation.
However, currently, the alleged 30-year-old model is creating headlines due to a cyber defamation case. Yes, you read right!
The doctored visuals, which falsely claimed her involvement in adult content and even her residence in the United States, were widely circulated and sparked public outrage across Assam with Archita neither linked to any p*rn*graphic content nor residing abroad. Archita hails from Dibrugarh and is allegedly 30 years old with her born on 9 Febuary, 1995.

Archita Phukan, who is creating a storm online for her bold pictures and videos had earlier filed a cyber defamation case against her former boyfriend for spreading morphed and misleading content using her face.
Who is Archita Phukan’s Boyfriend Pratim Bora?
Archita Phukan’s ex-boyfriend Pratim Bora, who is now apprehended by the Dibrugarh Police officials as the prime accused in the defamation case of Babydoll Archi, had been spreading morphed and explicit pictures of her online.
Pratim, using advanced photo manipulation tools created morphed and explicit images of Archita Phukan as he superimposed her face onto p*rn*graphic images to digitally defame his ex-girlfriend.

These morphed images and claims of her involvement in the adult content and pr*stitution sparked outrage across Assam, due to which various Instagram handles from Assam claimed that these images are AI-generated citing the striking visuals similarities between various influencers’ posts.
However, later, it was revealed that the face used in these bold pictures are of a real girl who resides in Dibrugarh, the ex-girlfriend of Pritam and the images are morphed. In addition, the authorities in Dibrugarh also confirmed that Archita Phukan is not related to the adult industry.

The false information was spread by Pratim Bora, Archita Phukan’s ex-boyfriend with deliberate intention to tarnish her reputation after a personal fall-out.
What Did Archita Phukan Say?
After finding out morphed and misleading content about herself online, Archita Phukan filed a formal complaint at the Dibrugarh police station. The cyber crime department of the Dibrugarh immediately traced the digital trail to Pratim, who has since been arrested under various sections of IPC and IT Act, including charges of violation of privacy, online defamation, and cyber harassment.

Where is Pratim Bora Now?
As of now, Bora is in police custody. He is set to be appear before the court in a few days. Additionally, the authorities have issued a strict warning against netizens for sharing or engaging in such unverified and malicious online content.
