According to reports, multiple individuals have come forward accusing Shah of manipulative and emotionally abusive behavior.
Pratik Shah accused of abuse
An Independent filmmaker named Abhinav Singh recently accused Shah of being “highly manipulative” and “emotionally abusive” through a series of Instagram posts. Abhinav initially warned his followers to be cautious around a certain cinematographer, before eventually naming Shah directly. Abhinav claimed that several women had reached out to him with similar accounts and shared:
“The number of women who’ve reached out to me is honestly frightening. I feel like I’m having a Margot Robbie moment from Bombshell. I will not be silenced. And to those who are still employing him – f**k you. His name is Pratik Shah. He’s a cinematographer.”
Aside from Abhinav’s allegations, several other allegations have also surfaced on Reddit, including allegations filmmaker-writer Srishti Riya Jain. Srishti shared screenshots suggesting that Shah had allegedly harassed women online for years.
Shah is accused of either sending unsolicited n*de pictures or soliciting them as Abhinav Singh claimed, via Instagram, that over 20 women had reached out to him, calling Shah a “predator.”
