On Saturday, November 12, Singh in a media interaction seemed to be saying that the Congress Party has several leaders and they are eyeing for the CM’s post.

She also expressed that the party will do well in the polls as they have worked for the welfare of the state and people.

As per a report by ANI, Singh stated in her statement, “We’d like to tell people of Himachal Pradesh to vote for development & work.

“Congress always worked for the development & in the time to come only Congress can take that work forward in the State. We’re Confident of winning 40-45 seats.”

Who is Pratibha Singh?

Pratibha Singh, who was born in Shimla, Capital of Himachal Pradesh on June 16, 1956, got married to former CM Virbhadra Singh in 1985. She is a Hindu by religion.

For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, it was Virbhadra’s second marriage. The couple shared a son, Vikramaditya Singh, who also stood in the Assembly Elections of 2022.

Pratibha represented the Mandi constituency in Lok Sabha back in 2004. She was again elected via bye-elections in 2013

She casted her vote today in Rampur, Himachal Pradesh and had an media interaction where she stated the aforesaid statement.

In the Assembly elections of Shimla, the contest is going to happen between Congress, BJP, AAP and the CPI.

Pratibha’s son Vikramaditya, stood from the Shimla rural seat. He will be facing against Ravi Mehta, a candidate of BJP and Prem Thakur, a candidate of Aam Aadmi Party.

Singh has been captured campaigning for her son and Chet Ram Thakur, who’s against Jai Ram Thakur.

In an earlier statement, Vikramaditya seemed to be saying, “We would like to request the people to take Himachal forward and cast their votes in the public interest, in the interest of Himachal Pradesh, to make it the best state in the country.โ€

The results of these Assembly elections will be declared on December 12.
