Prathmesh Mishra was named the new chairman of the Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in July by Royal Challengers Sports Pvt Ltd, a division of Diageo India. He succeeded Anand Kripalu, who left Diageo India on June 30, 2021, after serving as managing director and CEO. Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited, a division of Diageo India, is the owner of the Indian cricket team, RCB.
Chief Commercial Officer of Diageo India Prathmesh Mishra commented on his new post, as per Hindustan Times:

He further said:

Who is Prathmesh Mishra?
The new CEO of Indian Premier League club Royal Challengers Bangalore, Parthmesh Mishra assumed this new role with effect from July 1, 2021, and is presently Diageo India’s chief commercial officer. He is a member of the executive committee and oversees the commercial division of Diageo India.
Mishra has worked at Inertia Industries, Mohan Meakins, and Pernod Ricard for more than 20 years, holding roles in sales, marketing, key accounts, and customer marketing.

With a degree in Arts from Delhi University, Prathmesh also holds a PGDBM from the Institute of Management Studies in Ghaziabad.
