40 year old Mangaluru businessman Prakash Shetty ended his life by hanging himself on the ceiling fan of his flat.
According to reports, he hadn’t joined his family for lunch and had been by himself in his room since Sunday morning. The door was broken after repeated calls went unanswered, and Prakash was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan at 6:30 p.m.
However, the reason for his suicide is not known yet.
His suicide case has been registered at the Kadri police station, and they suspect it to be a suicide.
The A J Hospital delivered his mortal remains to Navya, his bereaved wife. According to his family members, his funeral will be held on October 2. The event will take place at 4 p.m. at his house in Kulshekar.
Who Was Prakash Shetty?
Prakash Shetty was 40 years old and he lived with his wife and daughter in the flat. He was the owner of Mahesh Motors and his buses run in numerous cities throughout the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. He has previously served as the former general secretary and a member of the Dakshina Kannada Bus Owners’s Association.
The father of Prakash Shetty, Jayaram Shetty, is a prominent member of the Bus Owners’ Association and has previously held the office of president.
Azeez Parthipady, president of the bus owners’ association, and Ramachandra Pilar, general secretary of the bus owners’ association, expressed their condolences in a joint press release and expressed their prayers for Prakash Shetty’s soul to find eternal peace and for his family to have the fortitude to get through this trying time.
