On Monday, reality television stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to 12 and 7 years respectively along with their accountant Peter Tarantino
The accountant, Peter was sentenced to 36 months behind the bars for tax fraud.
As per reports, Peter was found guilty of 2 filing of false corporate tax returns on the behalf of Chrisley’s company.

Tarantino reportedly will start his sentence from next May after he recovers from hip surgery.
As per the statement given by prosecutors, the couple were engaged in an extensive bank fraud scheme along with tax evasion.
Meanwhile, talking about Peter, the assistant US attorney, Annalise Peters, stated that, “Why did Tarantino conspire with the Chrisleys to defraud the IRS?”
He further noted that Peter was paid a sum of $40,000 for his accounts.
For those who are unfamiliar with Peter Tarantino, let us tell you, the 60-year-old accountant hails from Alpharetta, Georgia.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York. As per his biography on the website of CPA Tarantino, He has been working as an public accountant since 1986.
Peter, who’s a certified public accountant, is a member of CPA Tarantino. He had earned his Bachelor’s degree from Pace University in New York in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Taxation, and Law.
The public accountant is married and has 2 children. He moved to the South to raise his family after his wife gave birth to their first son.
Later, in 1999, they relocated to Atlanta, where Peter started working as CPA with a small and medium size business.
Peter specializes in managing finances and preparing the necessary documents for the tax filing. As per reports, his company manages in accounting, business, valuation as well as IRS audits.
As per reports, Peter’s lawyer pleaded for leniency before the court and apparently got lucky as he received the lower sentence of 36 months because he wasn’t the “mastermind” of the bank fraud scheme.
His attorney, Daniel Griffin, asked before the court for 18 months prison while noting that he had worked for charities as well done many acts of kindness.
