His full name is José Pedro Castillo Terrones. He was born on October 19, 1969, in Puña, Peru. His father’s name is Ireño Castillo who was a peasant. He has 8 siblings.
He did his schooling at Octavio Matta Contreras de Cutervo Higher Pedagogical Institute. Later, he attended the Octavio Carrera Education Institute of Superior Studies. Eventually, he got a master’s degree in Educational Psychology from César Vallejo University.
He is married and his wife’s name is Lilia Paredes who is a teacher. They have two children together.

His Career
Pedro Castillo combined his farm job and studies while he was a youngster. He began serving as the administrator and a primary school teacher in the village of Pua in 1995. He was also in charge of cleaning the school’s classrooms and providing food for the students.
