In a spree he streamed live on the streaming site Twitch, police claimed he shot 11 black and two white victims before surrendering to authorities with the video shared on Twitter by Traci Young Fant. He was later convicted on a charge of murder in a paper surgical gown before a judge.

Paul Gendron is his father’s name, and he is a civil engineer. Gendron works for the New York State Department of Transportation, according to a source. Furthermore, his mother’s name is Pamela Gendron who is also an engineer. Payton is their oldest son out of four children.

Twitch, a popular live-streaming site, confirmed that the suspect in the Saturday shooting utilised the platform to transmit a live broadcast during the incident.
As the gunman drives into the supermarket parking lot, video is captured from his point of view. Before pulling into the front of the shop, a person wearing a helmet can be seen in the rearview mirror stating, “Just got to go for it.”
Customers can be seen going through the parking lot as the suspect approaches in the footage.
Twitch removed the feed less than 2 minutes after the violence began, according to a spokesman. When asked if the suspect was actively firing when the live stream was terminated, the business could not immediately answer.
