Everything, Everywhere All At Once won a record-breaking seven Oscars on Sunday, March 12—including Best Film, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor. 

Although Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian to win the Best Actress Oscar and Jamie Lee Curtis became a social media sensation after winning her first Oscar, it wasn’t the members of the Everything, Everywhere All At Once cast and crew that grabbed the spotlight.

For his work on the film, Paul Rogers won the 2023 Oscar for Best Feature Editing, defeating Mikkel E.G. Nielsen for The Banshees of Inisherin, Jonathan Redmond and Matt Villa for Elvis, Eddie Hamilton for Top Gun: Maverick, and Monika Willi for Tár.

He won several accolades, including the BAFTA Award for Best Editing and the Oscar Award for Best Film Editing.

After he won the honour, Twitter users went crazy for his dashing good looks.

Who Is Paul Rogers?

Born in Alabama, Paul Rogers studied cinema at the College at Santa Fe and graduated from Homewood High School. He is married to Becky Rogers.

With an age range of 32-36, his exact birth year is not known, but it can be estimated that he was born somewhere between 1986-1990. He is not on Instagram.

He realised he loved editing and made the decision to do it professionally and made his career in it.

Before relocating to Los Angeles, he began his work as a documentary editor for public television. There he met Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the minds behind Everything Everywhere. In 2014, they worked together on the music video for DJ Snake’s popular single Turn Down For What.

Rogers edited The Death of Dick Long, another feature film by Daniel Scheinert, before Everything, Everywhere.
