Born in Hissar, Haryana, Dhillonโs life took a significant turn at the age of 8 when a football accident severely injured his right knee. Despite undergoing two surgeries, his condition did not improve. Undeterred, he discovered a new passion in badminton and remarkably won his first para-badminton event at the age of 11. Today, he continues to hone his skills at the Shining Star Badminton Academy in Haryana.

His success at the Asian Games includes a silver medal in 2014 and a gold medal in the 2018 Asian Para Games.
