Panagiotis Dilmperis has been appointed Head Coach of Punjab FC (PFC) for the next ISL 2024–25 season. His assistant coaches will be Papaioannou Ioannis in charge of strength and conditioning and Konstantinos Katsaras as assistant coach.

Who is Panagiotis Dilberis?
Panagiotis Dilberis is a former football player and manager who has been appointed by the Indian League side Punjab FC as their head coach. He stands 6ft 4in tall.

A look at Panagiotis Dilberis’ career so far
Panagiotis Dilberis began playing for Poseidon Neas Michanionas in 1996 as a goalkeeper, following a brief period of time with Atromitos Plagiariou.
Before the 2006–07 season, Dilmperis went to play for Agrotikos Asteras after a productive four years during which he made forty-four appearances, allowed fifty–two goals, and maintained thirteen clean sheets. He announced his retirement from the football in 2010.
His depth of experience from playing and coaching will be invaluable in leading Punjab FC in the upcoming season. He holds a UEFA A Licence.
Dilmperis made a smooth transition from playing to coaching after retiring, taking over as head coach of PS Serres in Greece.
Before joining PFC, Dilmperis was the head coach of A. E. Ermionida FC for one season. He has coached a number of elite teams over the course of the last 15 years, including Panserraikos FC, Rochester NY FC, and Iraklis Larisas FC.
Prior to starting his coaching career, Dilmperis spent 17 years as an excellent goalkeeper, representing clubs like Agrotikos Asteras and Iraklis FC.
