Palak’s father Jogender has had a major role in helping her not to get “discouraged” from others. He said, as per The Indian Express:

My villagers would never let her participate in such games. It is unusual for girls to reach anywhere, but we shifted to Gurgaon and she took to shooting as it was compulsory to choose a sport.

At home, we make sure there is a conducive environment for her not to feel stressed.”

They take care to prevent their difficulties from getting in her way because concentration and mental tranquilly are essential for her sport, say her father, as per The Indian Express.
