Despite her honesty however, Jones has admitted that it has seemingly put her at a disadvantage when it comes to her personal life and the dating aspect.
Lolo Jones brief bio
Lolo Jones an American bobsledder and hurdler who was born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 5th, 1982. Jones specializes in the 60-metre and 100-metre hurdles. While growing up, her single mother largely took care of her and she attended eight schools throughout eight years. She later attended the Louisiana State University and graduated with degrees in economics and Spanish.
The 40 year old has a height of 5 feet 8 inches. She was born to American parents James Jones Sr. and Lori Jones with her net worth at $1.5 million.
Sporting career
Jones is a three-time NCAA champion in hurdles who won 11 All-American honours, while in college. She has won two gold medals for the 60m hurdles at the World Indoor Championships. Jones also won first place in the 2008 World Athletics Final.
In bobsled, she won gold in the mixed team event at the 2013 World Championships. Despite being a favourite to win the 100-metre hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Jones tripped on the penultimate hurdle during the final, which landed her in seventh place.
She went on to represent team USA in bobsled at the 2014 Winter Olympics. This earned her the distinction of being one of the few athletes to have taken part in both the Summer and Winter Olympics in the same year.

Besides taking part in competitive sports, Jones has also took part on a number of reality TV shows, which include Dancing with the Stars. Jones featured on the show back in the 2014 season but sadly got voted off first. The 40-year-old also appeared on shows like “Celebrity Big Brother” and “The Challenge”.

Back in 2012, while giving an interview on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel Lolo Jones explained her decision to remain a virgin. She explained:
“It’s just something, a gift I want to give to my husband. But please understand, this journey has been hard. There’s virgins out there, I’m gonna let them know, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.
She further explained how staying a virgin before marriage has been harder than training for the Olympics and even harder than graduating from college.
