As per reports, Finestead made the allegations against the baseball pitcher in a series of social media posts on Tuesday.

As per a report by Athletic, the MLB aka Major League Baseball, has launched an investigation into the claims. The outlet further noted that Sox were made aware of the woman’s allegations only after the signing.
Meanwhile, Sox also claimed that they weren’t aware of these allegations when they rolled out a $12 million deal for one year.
