Since 2005, Olaf Lange and Sandy Brondello have been married. Surprisingly, they have previously shared the same coaching arrangement and are currently both a part of the New York Liberty coaching team in the WNBA.

Lange was born on 30th March 1972 in Berlin, Germany and did his schooling and graduated from the Humboldt University of Berlin.
After dating for a year, Sandy and Olaf the couple fell in love right away and have two children, Brody, 17, and Jayda, 14.
While Olaf’s salary at New York Liberty isn’t known, his wife Sandy earns more than $500k per year.

Olaf Lange career and education
Olaf Lange has already been associated with the WNBA for 15 seasons in a variety of capacities. He began his career with BTV Wuppertal in Germany.
The 52-year-old earned his degree in sports science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin prior to beginning his coaching career. After that, the Berlin-born man was hired as an assistant, a role he held until 1997. He was promoted with the squad the same year and received an “A license” as a coach from the German Basketball Association. From 1998 to 2002, BTV 1846 Wuppertal would win five titles in a row.
As the head coach of the German women’s national basketball team, he carried on his duties as head coach of the national team from 2001 to 2003. Following that, he served as head coach of the German under-20 men’s team and assistant coach of the German men’s national team. This time, he expanded his responsibilities as an assistant coach beyond Germany, serving as the FIBA SuperCup champion Ros Casares Valencia of Spain’s assistant coach.
He received his first summons to the United States in 2005, and he took a position as associate head coach for the Liberty University Lady Flames, serving in that capacity for two seasons. After those seasons, a WNBA team knocked on his door, and he welcomed them with open arms.
He’s been an assistant coach in the WNBA for both the Chicago Sky and San Antonio Silver Stars and has also experienced multiple head coaching positions with Ros Casares, Logan Thunder, and UMMC Ekaterinburg. Lange also has coached for German, Russian and the Australian Basketball National Teams.
Olaf Lange became an assistant coach and player personnel development coordinator for the San Antonio Stars after they relocated. Even his spouse, Sandy Brondello, was serving as an assistance in this situation.
