Emma Delaney Hancock, a 26-year-old former substitute teacher from Oklahoma, has been charged with multiple counts of lewd or indecent proposals and acts towards a minor with her now viral on Instagram
She is accused of exchanging photos and videos with a 15-year-old student and k*ssing him multiple times on school grounds.
An affidavit made public on Wednesday says that Hancock and the student met for the first time in October 2022, when Hancock had to get the student’s phone number for a task. She asked the boy to be her friend on Snapchat later that day.

Gerald Davidson, the temporary Public Information Officer for the Oklahoma State Board of Investigations, said, “It started evolving into a more personal type of text message and they became s*xual in nature.” After a few weeks, they started trading n*ked photos and films.
The boy also told investigators that he and Hancock had made out in secret several times while they were at school. The court record says that Hancock is also accused of hurting the minor during their second k(ss.
Emma Delaney confirmed affair with student, Says ‘Not Going to Get Caught’
Detectives talked to another student who said Hancock confirmed the affair, but he said “it would not amount to anything because they were not going to get caught.” The student also gave a list of other insulting videos that Hancock shared with him or showed him. Investigators found these kinds of movies on Hancock’s Snapchat, and they were proven to be real.
Emma Delaney is married to the town’s police chief, Alfred Hancock, and is said to be the daughter of Wellston’s mayor, Paul Whitnah. She has been charged with Lewd or Indecent Proposals or Acts to a Child Under 16, Soliciting S*xual Conduct or Communication with a Minor by Using Technology, and Obscene or Indecent Writings, Pictures, etc.
Released on $50,000 bail bond after court appearance
Emma Delaney went to court on Thursday, and a $50,000 bail bond got him out of jail. Charlie Dougherty of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says that she has not been held.
The event has made people in the area very angry, and some parents want substitute teachers to have to go through more background checks. In a statement, the Wellston School District said that Hancock was no longer working for the district and that they were helping with the probe.
The case is still being looked into, so more information should come out as the probe goes on.
