Keith McNally, whose brother Brian McNally is also a restaurateur in New York, owns several restaurants including Augustine, Balthazar, and Cafe Luxembourg.

Keith McNally Bans James Corden

It all happened after James Corden allegedly mistreated one of McNally’s staff at the Balthazar restaurant.

Following the actions, McNally banned The Late Late Show host from his restaurant in New York. He shared the whole incident on an Instagram post.

McNally stated that while Corden is a “hugely gifted comedian”, he was also a “tiny cretin of a man.”

McNally shared in an Instagram post by saying that Corden was the “most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers” since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.

James Corden Issues An Apology

However, Keith McNally later informed on Tuesday that The Late Late Show host, James Corden issued an apology to him following the ban.

McNally wrote alongside a photo of Corden on Instagram.

James Corden just called and apologized profusely.

He also wrote:

Keith McNally Brief Bio

Keith McNally was born to working-class parents, Joyce and Jack McNally, who live in Bethnal Green, London.

Keith has a brother, Brian McNally, who is also a restaurateur in New York. McNally’s first wife, Lynn Wagenknecht, is also a restaurateur.

McNally and Wagenknecht together have a daughter named Isabelle McNally who is an actress. Keith McNally is a famous New York restaurateur who has been active in the NYC restaurant scene since the 1980s.

The New York Times even referred to McNally as “The Restaurateur Who Invented Downtown”. McNally was a member of the original London cast of Alan Bennett’s play Forty Years On in 1968 and played the part of Maciliwaine.

He has recently faced backlash on Twitter and in print for supporting of Woody Allen on Instagram in the aftermath of the documentary series Allen Vs Farrow. He also faced backlash for supporting posts about Ghislaine Maxwell of Jeffrey Epstein.

McNally owns a list of restaurants – Augustine, Balthazar, Cafe Luxembourg, Cherche Midi, Lucky Strike, Minetta Tavern, Morandi, Neil’s Odeon, Pastis, Pravda, and Schiller’s. His net worth stands at $12 million.
