While some viewers thought the gesture was funny, others thought it was improper.

31-year-old German bride named Nina Lingstroem is seen flashing her bridesmaids and her husband’s groomsmen in a now-deleted video that has been viewed innumerable times.

As she posed with at least 15 groomsmen and her husband, some of whom even leaned over to take a peak, Ms. Lingstroem raised the waist-high slit of her white ballgown to display her lacy white underwear in the first segment of the candid, behind-the-scenes video of her bridal party images.

She laughs out loud at the camera, quickly shuts the slit, and resumes taking the usual pictures.

She can be seen doing the same thing with her five bridesmaids in another clip, however this time she chose to use her bouquet to hide her underpants.

The decision was quickly criticized by some, who called it a “major red flag,” while others called it a “pick me” and “attention-grabbing” tactic.

Reactions by netizens

“That’s a pick me girl … she’ll always be chasing this high to be the main character,” one commenter noted.

A woman who acts in ways that are perceived as seeking male validation often at the expense of other women is referred to as a “pick me girl” in slang.

“Notice how she looked at the groomsmen’s reactions and not her husband’s?” someone claimed.

One man found the moment amusing, explaining, “I found this really funny. No one saw anything, and it was probably her friend behind the camera. I’m sure it will get saved for her and her husband as a funny picture.”

The bride has since made her social media profiles private, despite her initial appearance of embracing the viral publicity.
