Nikita Hand received a sum of €250,000 approx. $257,000, as aforesaid, by Irish Civil Court Jury after she accused MMA star Conor McGregor of *xually assaulting her in 2017.
The Dublin-based woman alleged that the MMA star had “brutally r*ped and battered,” her in a South Dublin hotel penthouse.
The alleged incident reportedly took place after a night of partying. However, these claims were denied by Conor McGregor as he insisted that their encounter was consensual.
The Civil Court heard that the alleged assault left Nikita Hand heavily bruised and struggling with PTSD because of her mental health and that her relationship with her partner ended months after the incident. She also had to move out of her home in Drimnagh and her mortgage is now in arrears and she also said she had to stop seeing a counsellor because she could no longer afford to pay for the sessions.
In addition, she testified that the said incident, which took place after McGregor allegedly drive her to the hotel where drugs and alcohol were present, profoundly impacted on her life.
Nikita is the mother of a daughter named Freya and is currently dating a man named Gary.

35 year old Nikita Hand was awarded 248,603.60 euros (£206,714.31) in damages on Friday following the jury’s verdict after she accused Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor of r*ping her in a Dublin hotel and won her claim against him for damages in a High Court civil case.
Conor had previously told the court he had consensual s*x with Hand in a penthouse at the Beacon Hotel in South Dublin back in 2018.
Ms Hand, who is also known as Nikita Ni Laimhin, lost her case against another man, James Lawrence, whom she accused of assaulting her by having s*x without her consent at the same hotel.
As per reports, Hand was unable to work since the alleged incident due to her deteriorated mental health.
Furthermore, claims were made that the assault had disrupted Hand’s personal life, leading to the end of her relationship and forcing her to move out of her Drimnagh home after her partner was attacked by some masked men who broke into her house.
Reports also revealed that her mortgage had fallen into arrears and that she had incurred over €4,000 in medical and therapy expenses.

After the verdict, Hand had a brief conversation with media, wherein she expressed hope that her case would empower other survivors to come forward.
In addition, she credited her daughter for giving her strength throughout this 6-year ordeal. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old former UFC Champion, Conor McGregor, responded to the verdict by announcing his plans to appeal.
In a statement posted on X, McGregor expressed his disappointment, asserting that jury did not hear all the evidence, as he denied all the allegations against him and described them as “lies,” and “fantasy.”
