A sense of shock prevailed at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad following the tragic death of one of its faculty members. Authorities indicated that Nikhil Madan, a 30-year-old assistant professor at the institution, appeared to have taken his own life on Tuesday night at the campus residential quarters in Gachibowli. Preliminary estimates placed the time of the incident between 9 PM and 10 PM.
The police confirmed that the body had been sent for a post-mortem examination and stated that a case had been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). An investigation was reported to be in progress to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
