Xavier Worthy made headlines when he recorded the fastest 40-yard sprint time in NFL scouting combine ever, 4.21 seconds.
With the 28th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected the Texas wide receiver. Worthy concluded his three-year tenure with the Longhorns with the third-highest career touchdown catches and sixth-highest reception totals in school history.
Worthy appears to have been Texas’ best receiver since making his debut in 2021. He will now be paired with Patrick Mahomes, one of the greatest deep throwers in NFL history.

Meanwhile, Nicky Jones is ecstatic and proud of her son. Jones has long supported her son on social media, but she really became vocal after Worthy beat the NFL Combine record in the 40-yard dash calling him the “fastest guy.” She wrote, “MY SON is fastest guy in the history of the NFL Combine! #historymade.”
In a video that Worthy shared, Jones was seen sitting next to her son when the Chiefs selected him for the team during the 2024 NFL Draft. She was seen beaming broadly as his name was called out.
She was again back on social media to express her happiness and proud. She posted a picture of her with Xavier and captioned, “My son is a Kansas City Chief!”

Who is Nicky Jones?
Nicky Jones is Xavier Worthy’s proud mother who will now play for the Kansas City Chiefs, the 2024 Super Bowl winners. She also has two more children other than Xavier who is the oldest of all; both sisters named Ree and Onie.
On Mother’s Day in 2022, she shared a photo of her kids sitting on the couch. She captioned the post, “My 3. This will 4ever be my fav picture…I remember sitting across from them, thinking how grateful I was to be THEIR MoM. No matter how hard it got or gets, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them. I’ll go to war over these 3!”
