News anchor Atul Agrawal and his wife, age 38 Chitra Tripathi have announced their separation.
Chitra Tripathi wrote in a social media post, “After spending 16 wonderful years together, we planned our separation some time ago and are now ready to make it official – not as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family. We are dedicated to raising our son together and are grateful to our loved ones for their support during this transition. This is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey. Your wishes mean a lot to us.”

Atul did his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Geology/Earth Science from Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Haryana from 1994-1997. He did his Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication from the same place in 1997.
Then he attended the Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg and did an MBA program in marketing and human resource management from 1999 to 2001. In 2012, he earned his LLB degree from the Bundelkhand University in Jhansi.
