Jacob Andrew Duffy is a New Zealand cricketer who was born on August 2, 1994, in Lumsden, New Zealand, and he is currently 30 years with his height at 6 feet. Duffy mainly plays as a right-arm fast-medium bowler and as a right-handed batsman while on the bat. At the domestic level, Duffy plays for Otago, and made his senior debut during an HRV Cup match against Northern Districts back in January 2012. Duffy made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team back in December 2020.
He is a right arm medium pace bowler who can persistently bowl in the 135-140 kmph range.

Ben Sears ruled out of India Tests
New Zealand pacer Ben Sears has been ruled out of all the three-Test away series matches against India. The development comes following an injury on his left knee, which scans revealed was a tear to his meniscus. New Zealand Cricket made the announcement about the changes just a day before the beginning of the series opener.

Jacob Duffy represents the Otago Volts in first-class cricket and is the current all-time leading wicket-taker for the team. He has so far claimed 299 wickets in the 102 first-class outings. Duffy made his T20I debut back in 2020 during a game against Pakistan before making his ODI debut in 2022 during a clash against Ireland. He has so far represented the Blackcaps across six ODIs and 14 T20Is, where he has picked a total of 22 wickets. Duffy has an ODI bowling average and economy of 29.18 and 6.73 respectively. Meanwhile, his average in the T20Is, is 28.27 and economy is 7.78.
