For the unfamiliar, earlier, three UPSC students lost their lives after a nearby drain burst, causing flooding in a UPSC coaching instituteโ€™s basement in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. The families of the deceased are in a state of deep grief after losing their young children untimely.

About Shreya Yadav

Just two months ago, Yadav family from Ambedkar in Uttar Pradesh sent Shreya to Delhi to fulfill her dream of becoming an IPS officer. She had enrolled at Rau Coaching Center in May, but she lost her life in the tragic incident of flooding in the basement of the coaching center.

Shreya was the eldest of three children. Her father Rajendra Yadav from Hasimpur Barsawa village in Akbarpur Kotwali area of Ambedkarnagar, runs a diary ship in Bakhari Bazaar.

At the time of incident, on Saturday evening, Shreya and several other students were present in the library. After heavy rain, the library in the basement suddenly flooded, trapping everyone inside.

By the time the rescue operation began and they were brought out, three students had died, including Shreya Yadav. The news of her death caused an uproar among her family members.

After passing her high school and intermediate exams, Shreya completed her BSc and MSc in Agriculture. Additionally, she was pursuing a course in mass communication from a university in Haryana.

Shreyaโ€™s uncle, Dharmendra Yadav, resides in Noida and is a national spokesperson for the Samajwadi Party. The family last spoke to her on July 26.

About Nevin Dalwin

As per the statement given by authorities, 28 year old Nevin Dalwin, was a resident of Ernakulam, Kerala. As per a statement given by Dalwinโ€™s family, they received their sonโ€™s death news in the early hours of Sunday.

Nevin’s father Dalvin Suresh retired as the Deputy Superintendent of Police and his mother Lancelet T S is a professor with the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) at Kalady.

According to reports Nevin, who was also a research scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Nevin did both his M Phil and PhD at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and was doing research in Museology. His family are Christians and are natives of Thiruvananthapuram and settled at Mundagamattom after his mother Lancelet started her job with the SSUS.

Furthermore, they revealed that they have contacted the authorities and Nevinโ€™s friend in Delhi are after the formalities of post-mortem and other examination will be done, they will bring the deceasedโ€™ body back to Kerala.

Media reports claims that Nivin Dalwinโ€™s Uncle is on his way to Delhi and is estimated to reach their by Sunday evening.

Although, as of now there isnโ€™t much information available about Tanya Soni. However, the late UPSC aspirants was from Telangana.

Moreover, reports indicates that the bodies of the victims have been sent to RML mortuary for further examination.
