This happened on Saturday in the Pirpainti police station area of Bhagalpur district, Bihar, in the middle of a market. Neelam took her son Kundan to the market, and when she was on her way back home alone, Shakeel and his brother attacked her from behind.
First, the two men stabbed Neelam in the back and head, which made her fall to the ground. Then they cut off her hands, ears, breasts, and cut out her eyes. They were about to cut off the legs too when they heard footsteps and ran away. A chicken-killing blade was used to cut up the Hindu woman. The accused’s house was searched and this and other weapons were found there.
Apparently, the murder video of Neelam Yadav is so horrendous that even crime reporters couldn't dare to watch it for more than 5 seconds.

Reports say that Shakeel wanted to hurt Neelam and was putting pressure on her to have a sexual relationship with him. He used to go to Neelam and Ashok’s kirana store, which they ran with their husband, a lot for no clear reason. The woman had told him to stay away, which made him start to feel bad. Shakeel’s farmland is right next to the Yadav’s land.
"I asked him to stop coming to my house as he was not a good man", says husband of Neelam Yadav who lost her life, after one Shakeel chopped her limbs and other body parts.

Someone who saw what was going on called Neelam’s husband, who then asked Kundan to help his mother. Neelam Yadav was badly hurt, but she told her son who had attacked her. She was taken to a nearby sub-divisional hospital by bystanders and then sent to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Police in Bihar said that the attack happened because of a “financial dispute.” SSP Baburam said that the victim had taken money from the accused person. Which was something they had fought about before.
