Dan Cerrillo aka Spartan7adventr was born in California in 1972 and grew up in a military family as his father served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and this instilled a sense of service and duty in Dan from an early age. Dan joined the Navy in 1991 and went on to become a member of BUD/S Class 194, where he distinguished himself as a highly skilled and dedicated operator.
He was aged 50 when he died from a heart attack.

Dan Cerrillo, a former Navy SEAL, served from 1993 until 2005. After receiving his degree as a member of BUD/S Class 194, he served with SEAL Team One as an operator and instructor. Cerrillo led missions for Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom during his three deployments as a member of the Navy SEALs.
Cerrillo won a lot of awards throughout his military career. This group includes the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Navy Commendation, and Presidential Unit Commendation Medals.
In addition, after leaving the SEALs, he worked as a Control Risks Executive Protection Specialist at Vulcan, Inc. He oversaw the security and safety for some of the most well-known events, including the Super Bowl and the Oscars. Dan Cerrillo served on the Navy SEALs Fund’s board of directors up until his death.

Dan Cerrillo established Spartan 7 Adventure in July 2016. This business offers customers SEAL Experiences that are realistic. This changed over the course of three years to become Spartan 7 Inc.

This provides high-net-worth individuals, families, and organisations with security services, executive adventures, leadership coaching, and sober escort services.
Cerrillo invested his own money of $2,500 to start Spartan 7. At first, he was the sole worker. Nonetheless, Spartan 7 gained acceptance and success. Almost 250 employees and contractors work for the business. Their revenue also increased dramatically, going from $141K in 2019 to $4.1M in 2021. In 2022, $12M was projected for Spartan 7 Inc.

The Navy SEALs honour Dan Cerrillo
As word spreads that Dan Cerrillo passed away in March, a lot of his friends and former coworkers have posted tributes online.
Shawn Ryan tweeted on his demise, “He was a role model in so many ways, as a Navy SEAL, as a veteran, as a businessman, as a spouse, as a father, and as a human in general.” “Through him, I learned a lot about how to navigate life.” Another buddy paid respect to Dan Cerrillo by writing that he “was a fighter whose love saved countless veterans’ lives.”
