A distressing incident emerged in Ghaziabad, where an age 17-year-old high school student Nav Khanna living in ATS Advantage reportedly took his own life by leaping from a tall building in the city.
As per the statement given by the Ghaziabad police, the shocking event took place at the ATS Advantage Society in the Indirapuram vicinity, which comes under the jurisdiction of Indirapuram police station.

According to authorities, the distressing incident unfolded sometime between 8 and 9 PM on Thursday. The deceased student is identified by the police as Nav Khanna. The student was in the 11th grade.
As per the statement provided by the Assistant Commissioner of the Police (ACP) Swatantra Kumar Singh, prior to committing suicide the teenager was spotted with his two friends on the 24th floor of the high-rise building.
Following the incident, 17 year old Nav was rushed to a nearby hospital, however after reaching the hospital doctors declared the class 11 student as brought dead. The authorities found a suicide note in the pocket of teenager. As per media reports, the letter reads as “I fear suicide does not fail. Floor 24th, death confirmed.”
Although the ACP, Kumar Singh didn’t conveyed any word related to the suicide further, instead he revealed that, “Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. However, we are probing all angles”.
According to the police reports, the deceased student was with his two friends prior to the incident and they were clicking pictures on the 24th floor.
As per the reports, both of Nav’s friends informed the authorities that the deceased had mentioned that he was heading down for some errands. However, a while later, they observed a disturbance and discovered he had leapt from the building.
In his statement, the ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh stated that, “It appears that the deceased jumped while coming down from the 24th floor. We are looking into the CCTV footage of the vicinity to ascertain from where he jumped.”
According to the police and family of the 17-year-old student, the body of the deceased is sent for the post-mortem examination and further investigation in the case is being carried out by the Ghaziabad police.
