Natasha Perianayagam: Who Is She?
The 13-year-old Natasha studies at New Jersey’s Florence M. Gaudineer Middle School. Natasha’s parents are natives of the Tamil Nadu province of Chennai and she is a Hindu by religion
The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth has designated Natasha Perianayagam, a girl of Indian heritage, as one of the world’s smartest kids. She has once again been recognised as one of the smartest kids in the world.
The list was created using the results of tests that were above grade level and that were administered to more than 15,300 students in 76 different countries. Natasha Perianayagam also took the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) test in the spring of 2021, while she was in fifth grade.
On Monday, the university said her grades in the verbal and quantitative sections aligned with the 90th percentile of advanced Grade 8 performance, catapulting her to the honours list. SAT, ACT, and School and College Ability Test results by Natasha Perianayagam were recognised by the university.

Natasha Perianayagam’s parents remarked that she likes to draw in her spare time. She likes to read JRR Tolkien’s books as well.
The Center for Talented Youth has used testing above grade level to find outstanding students from around the world. Additionally, the test was given to provide a clear image of the student’s academic position.
Natasha Perianayagam joined the 2021–22 CTY along with 15,300 other students from 76 different countries, according to a university release. The CTY ceremony, when high or grand honours were awarded based on test results, only allowed less than 27% of participants to attend. The most recent attempt by Perianayagam resulted in her earning the highest marks of all participants.
